Disaster recovery drill failing

I'm trying to recover a Mailbox Server totally from scratch in a closed Lab Manager environment. Besides Exchange this also includes the entire infrastructure.

Here's what I've done so far:

- Installed DNS-server (same name and ip as in production) and imported zones from our production environment: No problem
-Imported image-backup of one of our virtual domain controllers to server in Lab Manager.
Seized all FSMO roles and made it a Global Catalog Server: No problem
-Installed a new Exchange Mailbox Server (same name, ip and disk layout).
Reset it's computer account on the DC: No problem
Joined the domain: No problem
Installs the Exchange 2010 pre-reqs: No problem
Starts the Exchange 2010 setup with the /m:RecoveryServer-switch
And here's the problem, setup fails with the following error:
Cannot specify installation mode because no Exchange server is installed on this
  machine. Install Exchange Server.
Server is not found in Active Directory. Server must be present in Active Direc
  tory to recover.
Exchange Server setup encountered an error.
The DC I imported to Lab Manager don't have any of the FSMO roles in production, and is isn't Global Catalog server. Can't this be the reason why I'm experiencing this problem?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards Klaus Ringe Nielsen
