Currently we are using a 3rd party email archiving solution which ingests email from journaling mailboxes. Our AD setup specifies these journaling mailboxes as shared service accounts, which disables them. The mailboxes still journal and ingest fine, but during a recent RAP it was suggested these mailboxes shouldn't be disabled accounts. Is there a reason why they should be enabled if journaling and message ingestion works fine with them disabled?
