We have four Exchange 2010 HUB Transport servers; two in each of two sites. Each server has two shadow redundancy queues: one to each HUB server in the other site for a total of eight queues. Six of the eight usually have 0 or 1 messages in them
at any given time. Two have between 500 and 900 at all times; both are going to the same HUB server. I have checked some of the messages in the queues at random and they all seem to have been delivered to the end user so it doesn't appear they
are really waiting for delivery. All servers have the same default shadow redundancy settings for the transportconfig. I have been searching for some information as to what could be causing this for days with no success. Any ideas or suggestions?
