Silent Cross Site Redirect not working

Hi,

I have an exchange platform that has 2 sites, one primary and one failover site.

When the Primary goes down the mailbox database will switch over to the failover site and the users are redirected to use the failover site CAS (www2).

When this happens the users are silently passed onto the www2 failover CAS. This is fine, exactly what i wanted. But when i reactivate the primary db and have an active owa session open on the failover site www2 i get a message telling me i will be passed back to the Primary site www1 in 30 seconds, just like the message i get going from primary-fail over. But this time i am prompted to login and the silent redirect types doesnt work.

Why is this? Am i missing something?

I ran this command on the failover site:

Set-owavirtualdirectory -Identity "FS-CAS-01\owa (Default Web Site)" -ExternalUrl "https://www2.DOMAIN.com/owa" -InternalUrl "https://www2.DOMAIN.com/owa" -CrossSiteRedirectType Silent

And ran this on the Primary:

Set-owavirtualdirectory -Identity "PS-CAS-01\owa (Default Web Site)" -ExternalUrl "https://www1.DOMAIN.com/owa" -InternalUrl "https://www1.DOMAIN.com/owa" -CrossSiteRedirectType Silent
