getting the "your Microsoft Exchange Server account does not have permission to synchronize with your current settings"

I am getting the "your Microsoft Exchange Server account does not have permission to synchronize with your current settings" error trying to sync an Android to Exchange 2010 SP1 and, while I think it is a annoying feature, I removed my account from server operators and account operators. Found a group inheritance through our helpdesk group and removed me from there, found the admincount=0 with adsiedit fix and set it to zero but phone still doesn't sync, same error. So far "check inheritance" isn't unchecking itself anymore. How does my user object in AD geting updated? Is there a process where AD looks around and realizes an AD object doesn't have inherited permission and reapplies them? BTW, phone still doesn't sync, same error.
